Winterwonderland Autostadt Wolfsburg

Jedes Jahr verwandelt sich die Autostadt Wolfsburg (VW) in eine vorweihnachtliche Winterlandschaft. Das Motiv zeigt nur einen kleinen Ausschnitts des Aufwands, der dort betrieben wird. Große Eislaufflächen für Groß und Klein, Schneelandschaften, Eisshows und viele kleine geschmückte Buden mit Essen, Getränken und Kunsthandwerk.

Rheinfähre

Rheinfähre Neuburgweier (Baden-Württemberg) -----> Neuburg (Rheinland-Pfalz) in der Nähe von Karlsruhe. Diese Fähre war viele Jahre lang nur für Fußgänger und Radfahrer eingerichtet. Nun können auch Autos sich befördern lassen. Die Überfahrt dauert ca. 2 Minuten.

Scent Tunnel VW Autostadt Wolfsburg

Scent Tunnel - a spectacular contemporary art work of Olafur Eliasson. There are 2160 densely planted flower pots.
Dufttunnel - ein zeitgenössisches Werk des dänischen Künstlers Olafur Eliasson in der VW Autostadt Wolfsburg. In dem sich um die Brücke langsam drehenden Tunnel befinden sich 2160 dicht bepflanzte Blumentöpfe.

He escaped persecution by the Nazis by masquerading as an ethnic German. His life story is told in the film Europa loosely based on his autobiography
